Mission

The Hôpital Louis-H. Lafontaine Foundation contributes to the pursuit and attainment of the objectives of the largest francophone psychiatric hospital in Canada. It supports the hospital in its mission to offer care, research and teaching. The Foundation is a non-profit organization created in 1993. Since that time, the Foundation has provided over $3.1 million in subsidies to Hôpital Louis-H. Lafontaine.

The Foundation supports the hospital thanks to its major fundraising campaign, its annual campaigns, various fundraising events and corporate and private donations. These contributions are allocated annually by the Foundation based on the priorities established by a joint Hôpital-Foundation committee.
