Quebec adventure

In fall 2002, the IPT approach was implemented in 9 clinical settings in Quebec among people with schizophrenia: specialized clinics for young psychotics, outpatient clinics of general psychiatry, clinical psychiatry long-term care, etc.

A study funded by the FRSQ-MSSS-CQRS (Alain Lesage et al.) allowed monitoring the implementation of the approach. Several publications have resulted (see research section):

To date, over twenty clinical settings apply IPT in Quebec.
