Profil

Marc Lavoie étudie le lien entre les processus cognitifs et l'activité cérébrale (potentiels évoqués) principalement dans le syndrome Gilles de la Tourette, mais aussi dans les troubles anxieux et plus particulièrement dans le trouble obsessifs-compulsifs.  Il collabore étroitement avec l'axe interventions psychologiques afin d'identifier les changements physiologiques intervenant suite à une thérapie cognitivo-comportementale (collaboration avec Kieron O'Connor et Stéphane Guay). Il a aussi des collaborations soutenues avec Roger Godbout et François Guillem sur les impacts cognitifs et cérébraux liés à la privation totale de sommeil.  Parallèlement, il s'intéresse aussi à l'impact des émotions perçues, sur la mémoire des personnes atteintes de schizophrénie en collaboration avec Adrianna Mendrek.
