Profil

La majorité des recherches de Stéphane Guay portent sur l’évaluation de l’efficacité de différentes modalités d’évaluation et de traitements psychologiques et pharmacologiques de l'état de stress post-traumatique (ESPT), sur les facteurs de risque et de protection concernant le développement de l'ESPT et sur la prévention primaire et secondaire de ce trouble. Ses recherches visent à identifier les composantes du réseau social pouvant aider au rétablissement des victimes d’un évènement traumatique et à améliorer les interventions psychologiques dispensées aux personnes qui développent un ESPT.
