Catherine Briand receives the 2010 Schizophrenia Prize

Congratulations to Catherine Briand, researcher at the Fernand-Seguin Research Centre of the Louis-H. Lafontaine Hospital, recipient of the 2010 Schizophrenia Prize awarded by the Institute of Neurosciences, Mental Health and Addiction of the CIHR and by the Schizophrenia Society of Canada.

Ms Briand, who directs the Centre for Studies on Rehabilitation, Recovery and Social Inclusion and teaches in the Occupational Therapy Program at Université de Montréal, adds a supplement of $25,000 to the grant she was already awarded by the CIHR for the project entitled “Issues surrounding the implementation and integration of best practices in the rehabilitation of people with schizophrenia and other severe mental disorders in Québec.”
