Trauma Studies Centre section

The Trauma Studies Centre (TSC) is a multidisciplinary research, teaching and clinical centre dedicated to trauma-related issues. The only facility of its kind in Quebec, it is based on collaboration between researchers and caregivers from the fields of psychology, psychiatry, neurobiology, cognitive science and workplace health and safety.

The purpose of the Centre is:

to develop our understanding of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in terms of evaluation and treatment;
to offer treatment for victims of traumatic events;
to raise awareness of PTSD and related issues.
