Profile

The majority of Stéphane Guay’s research involves: assessing the efficacy of different evaluation modalities and psychological and pharmacological treatments for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); risk and protection factors related to the development of PTSD; and primary and secondary prevention of this disorder. His research aims to identify elements in social networks that can assist in the rehabilitation of victims of a traumatic incident and improve the psychological interventions provided to individuals who develop PTSD.
