The Trauma Studies Centre (TSC) is part of Louis-H. Lafontaine Hospital’s Fernand-Seguin Research Centre. It is a multidisciplinary research, teaching and clinical centre dedicated to trauma-related issues. It is based on collaboration between researchers and caregivers from the fields of psychology, psychiatry, neurobiology, cognitive science and workplace health and safety. The only facility of its kind in Quebec, the Centre is a non-profit organization. It is managed by researchers and psychologists Dr. Stéphane Guay  (French content) and Dr. André Marchand (French content).

Its mission is :

To develop our understanding of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in terms of evaluation and treatment

To offer treatment to victims of traumatic events

To raise awareness of PTSD and related issues
